THREADBARE LINGERE COLLECTION

This concept brand reconciles often-perceived opposing attributes of luxury and sustainability, positioning both concepts in harmony. threadbare offers a perspective on luxury fashion branding where sustainability is not a hindrance nor an obligation, but an opportunity essential in reframing deluxe products and brands. Through a multi-layered branding approach, threadbare captures and reflects a responsible outlook increasingly shared by luxury consumers.
This collection takes inspiration from the strength of a female superhero, embracing and introducing a newfound confidence into lingerie design. Garments presented are all made of organic silk and/or organic georgette, and digital printing was selected for its vibrant appeal and minimal environmental impact. Though initially a conception, threadbare’s intention is largely based upon reinvestment, outreach and support; contributing a percentage of profits back into those communities which have provided inspiration and artwork for collections. Through such commitment, the availability and appreciation of creative communities is heightened, with congruency in intention, product detail & design and brand story. Concept and stratergies by Stacey Anderson and design by Angela Maria Platt.
